Community Service Society (CSS) is a non-course-based society in UTAR, Perak.
Community Sociology Program (CSP) is a sub unit of CSS UTAR.  


Mission：
- To strengthen the responsibility of community service among university students.
- To enhance the awareness among students of the importance of community service.
- To encourage the involvement of students in community service.
- To develop the spirit of caring among students.

UTAR 30 HOUR FAMINE

The 30-Hour Famine is a global youth movement against hunger and poverty. Participants will learn about the real-world issue of hunger and injustice as they fast and raise funds to tackle the root causes of poverty.  



UTAR EARTH HOUR
Earth Hour is a worldwide movement for the planet organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). It was started as a lights-off event in Sydney, Australia in 2007. Since then the event is held worldwide and held towards the end of March annually, encouraging individuals, communities households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour as a symbol for their commitment to the planet.
